Flights

The cost of transportation to the tour destination is not included in the trip price, but all on-tour flights and other forms of transportation during the tour are included. For secure and reliable payments along with the best deals, we recommend you to make flight bookings here.

Airport Transfers

Airport transfers are included only in tour packages (experiences) that we offer. However, we offer 3 forms of transportation for you select when making a booking. You can select your transportation from here 

PLACING A BOOKING WITH SLASL

Once you make the booking, we will be sending a confirmation email to you with all the information regarding the booking.

You will be able to cancel bookings according to the cancellation policy of the property.

Your confirmation email will list if any meals are included or not included. Depending on the property it may be possible to add a meal plan upon arrival. Please contact the property directly 1-2 days before your stay to find out more

It is not possible to make changes to your booking.

If your booking is non-refundable, you cannot cancel or make changes. If your booking is free cancellation or partially refundable, check your confirmation email or confirmation page in the Bookings section of your account for the cancellation costs.

TRAVELING TO SRI LANKA

Yes, individuals traveling to Sri Lanka for tourism purposes will require a visa to enter the country. To obtain a short-stay visa, visitors can apply online through the Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) website at www.eta.gov.lk. Tourist visas are usually issued for a maximum of 30 days. While it is possible to obtain a tourist visa on arrival, it’s advisable to apply for one in advance to avoid any potential inconvenience.

Yes, Sri Lanka has six UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the Ancient City of Polonnaruwa, the Sacred City of Anuradhapura, the Ancient City of Sigiriya, the Golden Temple of Dambulla, the Sacred City of Kandy, and the Old Town of Galle and its fortifications. The Sinharaja Forest Reserve, a tropical rainforest in Sri Lanka, has also been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Yes, visitors can extend their 30-day tourist visa for a maximum of 90 days by paying a fee. To apply for an extension, travelers must submit a copy of their passport’s bio-data page, two photographs, proof of sufficient funds (such as traveler’s checks or credit cards), and proof of onward travel out of Sri Lanka. Yes, Sri Lanka is home to a diverse range of wildlife, with 13% of the country designated as national parks, reserves, sanctuaries, and wildlife corridors. With over 480 bird species and 91 mammal species, including 33 endemic species, going on a safari in one of Sri Lanka’s 14 national parks provides the opportunity to witness some of the country’s unique wildlife in their natural habitat.

The official languages of the country are Sinhala and Tamil. However, English is widely spoken throughout the country.
